Anita Calero, a meeting in Dar Kawa
Anita Calero is Colombian and with two Spanish friends who sell Moroccan furniture, she came to Dar Kawa a few days. Together we shared a moment, a drink and more. A meal followed and a lot of complicity. Anita is a photographer and stylist. Today, the sixties illuminate her. And after a hectic life in New York, she decided to return to Cali, in the heart of her native Colombia.

Anita Calero est colombienne et avec deux amies espagnoles qui commercialisent des meubles marocains, elle est venue à Dar Kawa quelques jours. Ensemble, nous avons partagé un moment, un verre et bien plus. S’en est suivi un repas et beaucoup de complicité. Anita est photographe et styliste. Aujourd’hui, la soixantaine l’illumine. Et après une vie trépidante à New York, elle a décidé de retourner à Cali, au cœur de sa Colombie natale.
A free-spirited photographer
Still, Anita Calero has sought to extract the elegance of every thing, even the most everyday. As a teenager, she traveled to Switzerland, England, became hippie, punk … she let her freedom of expression express herself, confronted with multiculturalism that never left her. She moved to Miami, got married and left her husband for her photographer friend Maria Robledo. Quickly, they work in pairs, forming a united and creative team. Anita Calero works with heart and passion. She invests and invests in her work, in her New York apartment which becomes her temple. Today, she has left almost everything. Her life is established between Cali and Barcelona, among the trees. She is at the origin of life, of her life.
Une photographe à l’esprit libre
Toujours, Anita Calero a cherché à extraire l’élégance de chaque chose, même la plus quotidienne. Adolescente, elle a voyagé en Suisse, en Angleterre, est devenue tour à tour hippie, punk… elle a laissé sa liberté d’expression s’exprimer, s’est confrontée à la multiculturalité qui ne l’a plus quittée ensuite. Elle s’est installée à Miami, s’est mariée puis a quitté son mari pour son amie photographe, Maria Robledo. Rapidement, elles travaillent à deux, forment une équipe soudée et créative. Anita Calero travaille avec cœur et passion. Elle investit et s’investit dans son travail, dans son appartement new yorkais qui devient son temple. Aujourd’hui, elle a tout quitté ou presque. Sa vie s’est établie entre Cali et Barcelone, dans les arbres. Elle est à l’origine de la vie, de sa vie.
