“Working on something unique is giving yourself up totally to the creative process. For me, it is also a revitalizing experience. Going back to the roots of imagination, source raw materials.
When I find leather skins, I imagine them in the form of a hand bag, a purse. And I always look for something that stands apart, which only needs to be worked upon to be transformed.”

“Travailler l’unique, c’est se donner tout entière dans la création. Pour moi, c’est aussi une expérience ressourçante. Revenir aux racines de l’imagination, à la matière brute… Mais avant cela, il faut d’abord la trouver cette matière… Lorsque je trouve le cuir, je l’imagine en sac, en pochette. Et je cherche toujours celui qui sort du lot, qui ne demande qu’à être travaillé, métamorphosé.”
