Ivan Kolesnikov and Andreï Karpov are both russian painters.

They were invited a few years ago by the Sahart Foundation, to stay and work in Marrakech & in the desert. A series of painting were made by each of them. Some paintings went to Russia, others were given to the foundation.
At the end of their stay they had the idea to make a painting together and we had the chance to buy this painting. Since then it founds its place in Dar Kawa.
Ivan Kolesnikov et Andreï Karpov, 2 artistes peintres et amis russes. Invités par la Fondation Sahart, ils ont passé plusieurs mois en résidence à Marrakech et dans le désert. Un série de tableaux est née, certains sont partis en Russie, d’autres ont été offerts à la fondation. A la fin de leur séjour ils ont eu l’idée de faire un tableau à quatre mains, “les marchands de tableaux” et nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir l’acheter. Depuis, il a trouvé sa place à Dar Kawa.
